About Us

Our passion for Bernese Mountain Dogs and our journey as breeders began in 2003 when my husband and I gifted each other our first Bernese puppy as a wedding present. I had always admired the breed and knew that one day I would have one. While I’ve had experience with many other breeds, nothing compares to the joy of owning a Berner!

Both my husband and I grew up in families that raised puppies—his family bred Golden Retrievers, while mine raised English Setters. I always dreamed of raising Bernese puppies and sharing that experience with my children.

Dreams Do Come True

That dream became reality thanks to a special breeder who mentored me along the way. Since then, learning about this incredible breed has become my passion. Whether it’s breeding, nutrition, holistic care, health, structure, drafting, or training, I am constantly expanding my knowledge. In 2013, I completed a Canine Reproduction course at the University of Minnesota. I also enjoy exploring homeopathic remedies and essential oils and how they can benefit animals. We use medicinal-grade essential oils for our dogs and occasionally for our puppies, especially during stressful situations like whelping, weaning, or vet visits.

I am fortunate to work from home, running my own business—the Paradise Paw Spa—where I am both the shop owner and a dog groomer. Grooming is my profession, but raising Berners is my true passion!

Our Dogs Live Their Best Lives

Our dogs live with us as cherished family members in our home. They enjoy a variety of activities, including training classes, trips to the cabin, swimming in the lake, paddleboarding, and pulling a cart in the yard.

Commitment to You and Your Puppy

We are devoted breeders striving to produce healthy, well-balanced Bernese Mountain Dogs with exceptional temperaments. Our commitment to our puppies lasts a lifetime, and building strong relationships with our puppy owners is a top priority. We encourage questions and provide ongoing guidance to ensure our puppies thrive in their new homes. Additionally, we take the time to educate new owners on essential topics that will keep their companions happy and healthy for years to come!
